About The Author
Joe Korzon grew up on State Street in New Haven, where he shared the experiences of a blue-collar neighborhood filled with laughter, song, and the smell of New Haven Pizza. He has traveled extensively over his professional career, finding friends and experiences in India, the Philippines, Africa, Latin America, and throughout the United States. He now resides in Ellington, CT, where he continues working on his latest collection of short stories and essays entitled “Shallow Waters - Our Search for Faith and Character in an Unwilling World”
He has been actively involved with many charities, including the Connecticut Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Connecticut Special Olympics, and the UMASS Community Living Program. He has been a regular contributor to Connecticut Magazine, where he was recognized for excellence in writing in 2022 by the Society of Professional Journalists.
When not working on his writing, he enjoys cycling, music, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
